What if we’ve misunderstood the woman at the well?
In John 4, Jesus crosses every expected boundary to share a simple cup of water with a Samaritan woman whose story is far more complicated than we often assume. Rather than reducing her to her past, Jesus gets close, sees her fully, and offers her living water: a new life that begins to overflow from within.
The Table of Encounter explores what can happen when we trade assumption for curiosity, distance for proximity, and secondhand stories for personal encounter. Because Jesus doesn’t just want us to hear about him through someone else. He invites us to come close enough to know him for ourselves.
